Dark Waters Series

The Dark Waters Series is for older readers and introduces children to different suffixes, prefixes and root words.

The pack of 10 decodable books is designed for older children in need of support with their reading, teaching different letter patterns through a series of stories. Each 32 page book breaks down phonics practice while offering different stories for students in the upper primary and lower secondary years.

Lex’s Grandad has been working on a secret invention, but disaster strikes when he encounters some people intent on stealing it. Luckily, Lex has some new friends and a cunning plan that he hopes will save the day. These action-packed stories are designed for reluctant readers, taking them through different suffixes, prefixes and root words:
